THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ZABADAK (D S Lembethe) and QUESTION OF FAITH (*B Plaatjies) lost 1 length. b) CHARA SANDS (R A Venniker) kicked the back gates, was removed, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and subsequently withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 900m DROGARATI (A Mgudlwa) was tightened for room between TRAFALGAR SQUARE (S Moodley) which rolled out and GRIFFIN PARK (R Fourie) which rolled in. As a consequence, DROGARATI (A Mgudlwa) clipped the heels of GRIFFIN PARK (R Fourie). b) In view of the Starter's report with regard to CHARA SANDS (R A Venniker), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 08.02.24 to the 14.02.24. CHARA SANDS may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer M L Roberts was advised.
