THE STARTER REPORTED: a) HAT MAN (Wes Marwing) and JUMPING ANALIA (P Mxoli) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) WAITFORGREENLIGHT (*T Mayhew) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, BREGARDT (R Munger) was bumped inwards by HAT MAN (Wes Marwing), which jumped awkwardly inwards leaving the stalls. b) Leaving the 300m, WAITFORGREENLIGHT (*T Mayhew) was directed outwards to obtain a clear run. c) JUMPING ANALIA (P Mxoli) shifted in away from the crop in the concluding stages. d) BOSSY BOOTS (D Schwarz), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F P Habib advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) WAITFORGREENLIGHT: Apprentice T Mayhew weighed out at 54kg, only claiming 3,5kg of his 4kg apprentice allowance as declared.
