THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FULL GO (J Gates) stood losing many lengths. The starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. Trainer B B Ruiters was advised (PHvdW). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey M van Rensburg eased MASTERS QUEEN out of this race from the 500m. Thereafter, Jockey M van Rensburg reported that he felt something amiss with this mare in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) In view of the Starter's report with regard to FULL GO, this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion. Suspension dates: 9 February 2024 to 15 February 2024. FULL GO may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer B B Ruiters was advised. c) LA MOOHAL (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer W Masawi, acting on behalf of Trainer M F de Kock, was advised (MS).
