THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FORCE DE DIEU (R Munger) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) REMAINS OF THE DAY (P Mxoli) over-raced in the early stages. b) JUDGEMENT DAY (C Maujean) shifted out away from the crop from the 200m. c) MARAUDING HORDE (K Matsunyane) shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages. d) In view of the performance of REMAINS OF THE DAY (P Mxoli), (distance 21,50 lengths, betting 25/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. e) Jockey R Munger reported that FORCE DE DIEU made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. f) MARAUDING HORDE (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
