THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At approximately the 300m, VICTOR RAIL (*K J Lihaba) was momentarily inconvenienced off the heels of HEAVEN'S WILL (C Habib) which shifted out sharply away from the crop and was immediately straightened. Thereafter VICTOR RAIL (*K J Lihaba) was steadied when awkwardly placed between HIGH VELOCITY (N Patel) which was hanging in from the 400m and HEAVEN'S WILL (C Habib). b) KNIGHT WARRIOR (M Yeni) raced wide around the turn and into the straight. c) In view of the performances of ZABADAK (S Veale) (13.75 lengths and 66/1 in the betting) and HEAVEN'S WILL (C Habib) (9.55 lengths and 25/2 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) KNIGHT WARRIOR (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D S Bosch advised (DZ).
