THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, WILD AT WAR (C Maujean) and SHE'S A MIRACLE (*M K Katjedi) bumped when awkwardly placed between SUNSET RIOT (D De Gouveia), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls, and STALWART (P Mxoli), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) At approximately the 1200m, WILD AT WAR (C Maujean), which over-raced in the early and middle stages, was steadied to avoid running onto the heels of HAIR TRIGGER (G Lerena). c) SUNSET RIOT (D De Gouveia), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
