THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) PRINCESS IZZY (K Matsunyane) and EPIKLEROS (G van Niekerk) were taken in behind runners shortly after the start. b) Jockey G Wright reported that he felt something amiss with CALLMEGETRIX, which over raced in the early stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) SUMMER LILY (D Muscutt) was hanging out from the 300m. d) In view of the performance of FAMILY POWER (C Orffer), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) RAINBOW LORIKEET, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
