THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ELEMBEE (R Munger) was stubborn loading. b) KWAZZI'S LADY (D De Gouveia) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In the concluding stages, MARY'S GREENLIGHT (M Yeni), which was directed outwards off the heels of LADY FALLON (C Zackey) to continue its run, had to steady momentarily when awkwardly placed between LADY FALLON (C Zackey) and FRANCES ETHEL (K Matsunyane), which shifted in away from the crop and was immediately straightened. b) Jockey C Zackey reported that he felt something amiss with LADY FALLON in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) FRANCES ETHEL (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
