THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	CARVED IN STONE (S Naidoo) was stubborn loading and nervous in the stalls.
b)	MAD WORLD (S Khathi) was stubborn loading, jumped awkwardly outwards and thereafter was slow into stride.
c)	LOVE SONG (K Minnie) and FIVE STAR MAGIC (*T Mayhew) jumped slow, losing one length.
d)	CHEAP THRILLS (R Khathi) was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	The start of this race was delayed due to the delay in the previous and the thirty-minute interval between races.
b)	FIVE STAR MAGIC (*T Mayhew) raced green and was hanging in from the 400m.
c)	FOREST FANTASY (K Steyn) and GALAXY MOMENT (D Ashby) raced green.
d)	Jockey K Minnie reported that LOVE SONG made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 
e)	In view of the performance of LINDA'S GIRL (R Danielson), which was not persevered with from the 250m, The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Jockey R Danielson appeared before the Board and was advised that, although LINDA'S GIRL had come to the end of its run, he has an obligation to ride his mounts, at least hands and heels, to the finish.
f)	In view of the performance of STRING OF LIGHTS (L Mxothwa), Trainer DA McKenzie will be advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this filly on her return to the stables.
g)	PRINCESS HANNAH, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer DA McKenzie was advised. (LM)
