Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	BRIDGERTON (L Mxothwa), which stood awkwardly in the stalls, was restless as the start was effected and jumped slow, losing two lengths.
b)	HONEST QUEST (X Ndlovu) and WIND SOCK (*T Mayhew) were slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	The Stewards reviewed the start of this race with regard to BRIDGERTON (L Mxothwa) in stall gate 4 and established that this gelding had become restless in the stalls as the start was effected, which resulted in this gelding jumping awkwardly and losing ground at the start, as a result of its own behaviour. No further action was taken.
b)	PRINCE OF DENMARK (S Khathi), which over raced in the early stages, took an awkward stride away from the inside running rail leaving the 1200m.
c)	TIMBAVATI RIVER (R Danielson) was hanging in in the straight and had to be straightened leaving the 300m.
d)	SINGLE FILE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer K Mitchley was advised. (LM)
