THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	RONDEBOSCH (R Fourie) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls.
b)	CHESTNUT BOMBER (G Lerena) was slow losing two lengths.
c)	GREATERIX (M Yeni) was slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	As the start was effected, RONDEBOSCH threw its head back and struck Jockey R Fourie's skull cap. As a consequence, Jockey R Fourie made an adjustment to his riding goggles at the 800m.
b)	After being slow away, CHESTNUT BOMBER (G Lerena) failed to muster speed on debut.
c)	ADDRESS THE NATION (C Zackey) hung in from the 400m.
d)	Jockey	C Zackey reported that ADDRESS THE NATION made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. 	
e)	PISTOL PETE (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
