THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BONETE (R Munger) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) RENY (K Matsunyane), JULIET TANGO (P Mxoli) and GOOD QUEEN BESS (GB) (J P van der Merwe) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) TERRA TIME (C Zackey) proved reluctant cantering to the start and had to be led by a Handler. When taking into account this mare's previous history of proving reluctant to canter to the start, TERRA TIME has been suspended in terms of Rule 93.2.4 until she proves tractable cantering to the start on a race day. Trainer M N Houdalakis was advised (DR). b) Jockey C Habib felt something amiss with PEACH DAIQUIRI in running and eased this filly out of the race from the 600m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) SILVER HILLS (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S G Tarry advised (MS). d) HUMDINGER (P Strydom), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M F de Kock advised (MduP).
