THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start VISION OF WILL (R Fourie) was briefly tightened between LOVE BOMB (C Zackey) and LE PREMIERE (R A Venniker) which jumped out leaving the starting stalls. b) In the concluding stages VISION OF WILL (R Fourie) which commenced to hang in was carried out by RUGGER LOVER (S Veale) which rolled out. c) Jockey S Veale reported that he felt something amiss with RUGGER LOVER in the concluding stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) In view of the performance of ELECTRA GREEN (*K J Lihaba) (5.60 lengths and 33/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) LE PREMIERE (R A Venniker), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
