Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) 	SIBERIAN STEEL (K A Brewer), MUNCHKIN (R Danielson) and SUPER AGRA (*N Nastili) were stubborn loading.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	At approximately the 150m, TURBO POWER (S Moodley) was bumped by DUKE OF ROCK (D Schwarz), which shifted out. Thereafter, shortly before the finish line, when racing in close proximity, TURBO POWER (S Moodley) and DUKE OF ROCK (D Schwarz) made contact on a number of occasions. Jockey D Schwarz appeared before the Board, was shown the patrol film of this incident, and was advised to be more mindful of other runners' positions relative to his in races. 
b)	Jockey J Greyling did not persevere with his riding from the 400m. Thereafter, Jockey J Greyling reported that VEGAS HI RISE did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 	
c)	CIAN THE CONQUEROR (M van Rensburg), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee F Naude was advised (MS). 	 
	
JOCKEY CHANGES:
a)	VEGAS HI RISE was ridden by Jockey J Greyling (declared 7 March 2024 at 10H56).
b)	KINSHIN SHA was ridden by Apprentice	 S Sosibo (declared 7 March 2024 at 14H55).		

RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER:
a)	COPPOLA raced with a tongue tie on (declared 6 March 2024 at 07H47).	
b)	ESQUEVELLE raced without blinkers (declared 7 March 2024 at 04H14).	

THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED:
