b)	GREEN VALKYRIE (K Steyn) and SENHORA VICTORIA (S Veale) were slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	PORTO ZANTE (C Zackey) pulled hard in the early and middle stages. Thereafter, Jockey C Zackey reported that he felt something amiss with this filly and he did not persevere with his riding from the 200m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
b)	The saddle on GREEN VALKYRIE (K Steyn) slipped back in running. This was confirmed by a Stipendiary Steward.
