THE STARTER HAD NO REPORTS. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The bit on DANTONFROMSANDTON (P Strydom) slipped through this colt's mouth whilst negotiating the turn. This resulted in DANTONFROMSANDTON taking a number of awkward strides at the 700m, shifting out sharply and having to be corrected by Jockey P Strydom. b) Jockey C Maujean reported that VALIEVA made an abnormal respiratory noise in running.
