THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BOSUM BUDDY (P Mxoli) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly before the finish line, WE WILL ROCK YOU (M van Rensburg), which was finishing her race off strongly, was steadied when racing into a diminishing run between POINTER (D De Gouveia) and BOSUM BUDDY (P Mxoli), which shifted out away from the crop from the 150m. b) Jockey C Maujean reported that ETHENSBEAUT made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) PINATUBO (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer R Klaasen advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) ETHENSBEAUT raced with a tongue tie on (declared 19 March 2024 at 07H27).
