THE STARTER HAD NO REPORTS. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Approaching the 400m, HAVE A PARTY (*M K Katjedi), which was directed outwards to continue its run, was steadied in anticipation of being awkwardly placed between BAD HAIR DAY (J R Syster), and on the heels of ARIEL'S JET (G Lerena), which rolled in and was immediately corrected. b) Jockey D De Gouveia reported that he felt something amiss with WOMAN OF SUBSTANCE in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. c) Jockey D Schwarz reported that he felt something amiss with MASTERS QUEEN in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. d) Shortly before the finish line, DAMOVA (C Zackey) was momentarily inconvenienced on the inside of BAD HAIR DAY (J R Syster) and on the heels of PASCHALS SAMORE (M Yeni), which rolled out marginally. e) PASCHALS SAMORE (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer W C Marwing advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) MASTERS QUEEN: Jockey D Schwarz weighed out at 56,4kg, 1,5kg over the carded weight of which 1kg was declared.
