THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	WEDDING BELLS (O Noach), SILVER FLARE (JP van der Merwe) and TERESA MENDOZA (A Andrews) jumped slow, losing one length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	There was a technical fault with the Judges' camera, resulting in a delay with the issuing of the official result. The Judges, acting in terms of Rule 65.6, used the race film and were satisfied that the placings and distances were correct. This was confirmed by the Stipendiary Stewards.
b)	Jockey D Ashby reported that DYMONDIA did not stride out freely in running and he did not persevere with his riding from the 250m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
c)	Jockey JP van der Merwe reported that he felt something amiss with SILVER FLARE and he did not persevere with his riding from the 250m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 
d)	Jockey A Andrews reported that TERESA MENDOZA did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
e)	PLUM PUDDING, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee A Mgqmelo, acting on behalf of Trainer WA Nel, was advised. (SC)
