THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start CHILLI CHACHA (M Yeni) was bumped out by GIJIMA MFANA (*K J Lihaba) which jumped out. b) CHILLI CHACHA (M Yeni) over-raced in the early stages. c) Jockey S Veale reported that the saddle on GLOBAL MOVEMENT slipped forward in the early stages of the race. Thereafter, approaching the 800m Jockey S Veale was allowed to improve around runners to take up a forward position entering the straight. d) IBIZA NIGHT (J Jacobs) was hanging in from the 300m. e) TRITON (S Moodley) was hanging in from the 200m. f) GLOBAL MOVEMENT (S Veale), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M N Prinsloo advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Apprentice K J Lihaba was only able to claim 1kg of his 1.5kg apprentice allowance and weighed out at 54.7 kgs.
