Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) SEA MASTER (*K Strydom) was stubborn to load.
b) LOVE THE VIEW (W Kennedy) was restless in the stalls.
c) ARTIC TUNE (S Moodley) reared in the stalls on one occasion.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a) Jockey W Kennedy (LOVE THE VIEW) briefly lost his left side stirrup iron leaving the starting stalls.
b) MASTER OF DESTINY (S Veale) over-raced in the early and middles stages.
c) ORIGAMI (C Zackey) and MACARA (D Dillon) were hanging in from the 400m.
d) At the 200m, NEWS STREAM (A Arries) shifted in away from the crop and was thereafter straightened. As a result LUCKY DANCER (D De Gouveia), MASTER OF DESTINY (S Veale) and SIR MICHAEL (K de Melo) were carried inwards.
e) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning ARTIC TUNE, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer L Karriem will be advised. (Suspension dates : 24.02.22 - 24.04.22, bdi)
f) ARTIC TUNE (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer L Karriem advised (HM).

e) ARTIC TUNE : Uni-lateral epistaxis. Confirmed 60 days suspension.
