THE STARTER REPORTED: a) UNDER THE RAINBOW (+S Mkhumbuzi) was stubborn loading and thereafter slow, losing two lengths. b) HAT MAN (+S Dwayana) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. c) DELPHI DANCER (+G Dadamasi) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) EVE'S APPLE (+T Matsoele) hung in from the 400m. b) Work Rider G Dadamasi (DELPHI DANCER) made an adjustment to his goggles at the 300m. c) Work Rider T Lukhele reported that WHAT A PREDATOR made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) NKANDLA GOLD (+A Feni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee A Smith, acting on behalf of Trainer B Webber, was advised (MS). WORK RIDER CHANGES: a) NKANDLA GOLD: Work Rider A Feni weighed out at 60,9kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight.
