THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PYROMANIAC (G Lerena), LA MOOHAL (*M K Katjedi) and PLAYER (M Yeni) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Approaching the 300m, FUNKY MUSIC (*T Mayhew) was steadied when awkwardly placed on the inside of SUPREME DANCE (D De Gouveia), and on the heels of PYROMANIAC (G Lerena), which commenced to hang out and shifted out. Shortly thereafter, PYROMANIAC (G Lerena) was directed inwards away from the heels of PLAYER (M Yeni), which rolled out from the 400m. Jockey M Yeni appeared before the Board and was advised to be more mindful of the proximity of other runners and riders relative to his position in races. b) PLAYER (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Dawson advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) VIVA SPIRIT: Jockey C Zackey weighed out at 54,9kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) ARUMUGAM raced without blinkers (declared 26 March 2024 at 08H01). b) SILENT WAR raced with club colours (blue with a black cap) Stipes permission.
