THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PETIT VERDOT (G Lerena) rushed the front gates, removed, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, declared fit to race, and reloaded. Thereafter this filly fly jumped leaving the starting stalls. b) MISS PLATINA (S Veale) was stubborn to load. Lost 2 lengths. c) IMPERIOUS DESTINY (A Mgudlwa) was stubborn to load. d) BABY ON BOARD (R A Venniker) lost 3 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Approximately the 150m HUGSANDHIGHFIVES (C Habib) which had come to the end of its run had to be steadied when awkwardly placed between MISS PLATINA (S Veale) which rolled out and SPRING KISS (R Fourie) which shifted in marginally away from the crop. b) PETIT VERDOT (G Lerena) was hanging in in the concluding stages. c) Jockey T Godden reported that QUESTO E QUELLO did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Jockey R A Venniker reported that she felt something amiss with BABY ON BOARD in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) When questioned regarding the improved performance of IMPERIOUS DESTINY (A Mgudlwa), the winner, compared to its previous run on the 10th of March 2024 at HollywoodBets Greyville Racecourse, Trainer A Wright stated that for today's run, this filly raced without ear muffs and this in her opinion, had attributed to the improvement shown. She further stated that IMPERIOUS DESTINY (A Mgudlwa) is better suited to the polytrack surface. Trainer A Wright undertook to race IMPERIOUS DESTINY without earmuffs in its future engagements and where possible, to run this filly over the polytrack surface. The Board noted this explanation. f) IMPERIOUS DESTINY (A Mgudlwa), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A Wright advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Jockey T Godden was the rider of QUESTO E QUELLO (Advised 03.04.24/12h28). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) None.
