THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TIME TO THE MOON (*N Nastili) was stubborn loading and thereafter slow into stride. b) GODSPEED (*K J Lihaba) was slow losing two lengths and thereafter slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) TIME TO THE MOON (*N Nastili) proved reluctant proceeding to the start and had to be led unmounted. Trainer W H Marwing was advised that should this filly behave in a similar manner in future, it may be suspended. b) Shortly after the start, NORTHERN KITTEN (D Schwarz) was steadied away from the heels of GRAPE SHOT (M van Rensburg) when bumped inwards by QUE CEU AZUL (P Strydom), which jumped awkwardly inwards leaving the stalls. c) TIME TO THE MOON (*N Nastili) proved difficult to settle in the early stages. d) MISS HANNIGAN (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
