THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Shortly after the start, GLOBAL CHIEF (D Ashby) was buffeted between OVER THE MOON (X Ndlovu) and MASTER OF DEFENSE (M Yeni).
b)	FIVE STAR MAGIC (M van Rensburg) and LORD CAPULET (K Steyn) over raced in the early stages.
c)	SPECMAGIC (S Khumalo) was hanging in from the 300m.
d)	At approximately the 250m, FIVE STAR MAGIC (M van Rensburg) had to steady and be switched in off the heels of OVER THE MOON (X Ndlovu), which shifted out marginally away from the crop.
e)	Jockey S Naidoo reported that he felt something amiss with SEETHEBADGE. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 
f)	SEETHEBADGE (S Naidoo) returned with a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended, for a period of 60 days, from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1. (Dr K Davis)
g)	MY BEST SHOT, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised. (LM)
