THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MIDNIGHT CRYSTAL (S Naidoo) was nervous in the stalls and jumped slow, losing one length. b) ANGELSEA (D Schwarz) jumped slow, losing one length. c) LOOKING HOT (S Khumalo) and FAIRY TRIPP (S Khumalo) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey K Minnie reported that RIMAAH did not stride out freely in running and he eased this filly out of the race at the 400m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) FAIRY TRIPP (S Khumalo) was hanging out from the 300m. c) MISS SHAIVI (M Yeni) was hanging in in the concluding stages. d) Jockey D Ashby reported that SYMBOL OF LOVE did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) DREAM SCAPE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer WGC Miller was advised.
