THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	AUGUSTA BLUE (G Wright) was restless in the stalls.
b)	TRIPPI'S SILK (R Khathi) jumped slow, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride.
c)	ALL ABOUT RONNIE (M Winnaar) and BARDOLINO (K Steyn) were slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	On entering the home straight, all Riders elected to direct their mounts to the outside of the race course.
b)	Approaching the 400m, OLIVER (A Domeyer) was unable to secure clear running and had to be directed inwards.
c)	SLURRICANE (S Veale) raced wide on the early part of the turn.
d)	AUGUSTA BLUE (G Wright) had difficulty obtaining clear running in the straight.
e)	Jockey R Khathi reported that TRIPPI'S SILK changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
f)	Jockey C Orffer reported that he felt something amiss with HOODIA. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
g)	RADICCHIO, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer PAW Botha was advised. (WM)
