THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WHAT A HONEY (K Matsunyane) was stubborn loading. b) ROCKETS RED GLARE (*M K Katjedi) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, ROCKETS RED GLARE (*M K Katjedi) was squeezed out between SECOND BREATH (C Maujean) and MYTHICAL DREAM (G Lerena), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) In view of the performance of WAR QUEEN (K A Brewer), (distance 9,95 lengths, betting 7/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) Jockey S Moodley reported that WOMEN OF FAME changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) WHAT A HONEY (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M N Houdalakis advised (MS).
