THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Approaching the 800m, NOBLE STORM (R A Venniker) was steadied momentarily when awkwardly placed on the heels of CONVOCATION (*B Plaatjies) which rolled in. b) THERE SHE GOES (*K J Lihaba) shifted in away from the crop in the concluding stages. c) Jockey S Veale reported that he felt something amiss with RED ROSES TOO in the concluding stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) CONVOCATION (*B Plaatjies), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
