THE STARTER REPORTED: a) HAKAS KRAKAS (K Matsunyane) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) FULL GO (J R Syster) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) SAFE SPACE (C Habib) shifted in away from the crop in the concluding stages. b) Jockey M van Rensburg was dislodged from RYAN'S DREAM, which stumbled in the pull-up area. c) Jockey P Strydom reported that he felt something amiss with HOLOCENE in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) THAMBI (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee M Pandaram, acting on behalf of Trainer L Karriem, was advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) FUTUREWOLFF raced with a cornell collar (declared 24 February 2024). b) THAMBI raced without blinkers (declared 19 April 2024 at 21H44). c) SAFE SPACE raced with club colours (blue with a black cap) Stipes permission.
