THE STARTER REPORTED: a) UNDER THE RAINBOW (+D Mazule) was stubborn loading and thereafter slow into stride. b) THREE BELLS (+S Myendeki) was stubborn loading and thereafter jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, IN A BLUE MOON (+S Dwayana) was bumped by UNDER THE RAINBOW (+D Mazule), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) SILVER MARMALADE (+V Sithetho), which raced green, raced wide around the turn and into the straight and thereafter commenced to give ground to the field from the 400m. c) OKLAHOMA TWISTER (+I Lukhele) hung out and proved difficult negotiating the turn. d) Work Rider S Myendeki appeared before the Board, in the presence of Work Rider Welfare Officer, Mr M Meinie, and was cautioned to allow his mounts time to respond to his crop use and was spoken to regarding his crop action in the concluding stages. e) IRISH LOVE (+T Lukhele), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer W C Marwing advised (MS).
