THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	MIDNIGHT CRYSTAL (L Mxothwa), COLORAMA (C Maujean), JAMBO SANA (S Naidoo) and RUNNINGFORTHESTARS (X Ndlovu) were slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Leaving the 800m FAIRY CIRCLE (K Minnie) raced in restricted galloping room for a number of strides on the inside of YOUCRACKMEUP (Y Ramzan), which was hanging in throughout. Thereafter, Jockey K Minnie felt something amiss with FAIRY CIRCLE and he did not persevere with his riding from the 300m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
b)	Apprentice N Nastili reported that MY AMI BEACH did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare.
c)	Jockey C Maujean appeared before the Board and was questioned regarding his riding of COLORAMA from the 150m. Jockey C Maujean told the Board that this mare had changed strides continually on the turn and that, in his opinion, this mare had come to the end of its run at the 150m. The Stewards reminded Jockey C Maujean of his obligation to ride his mounts to the finish and that he should report anything that may have affected the performance of his mounts during the running of a race. Stable Employee G Venter was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this mare on her return to the stables. 
d)	YOU WIN AGAIN, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised. (LM)
