THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start VISIONARY DREAMER (*K J Lihaba) and in turn SUPER CASANOVA (A Mgudlwa) were carried out by ACT OF GENIUS (T Godden) which was hanging out throughout and rolled out. b) SALT 'N PEPPA (M Thackeray) raced green and shifted both ways away from the crop from the 300m. c) LITTLEBLACKGEM (R A Venniker) was carried in marginally by BARRY DU GROND (S Moodley) at the 100m and thereafter shortly before the finish. d) TWENTY ONE MAY (S Veale), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
