THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RED KNOT (D Schwarz), GILDA GRAY (C Maujean) and FULL GO (J R Syster) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) FULL GO (J R Syster) over-raced in the early stages. b) HIS MASTER'S VOICE (J Greyling) over-raced in the early and middle stages. c) The ProCush padding on Jockey S Khumalo's crop (COROMANDEL) was partially detached at the 200m. d) In view of the performance of IDEAL FUTURE (*N Nastili), (distance 5,45 lengths, betting 7/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. e) The saddle on KAKIEBOS (C Zackey) slipped back in running. This was confirmed by an Official. f) VIVA DE JANEIRO (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F Bronkhorst advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None.
