THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SENSORIA (*M K Katjedi) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) PEARL IN HER CROWN (C Zackey) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. c) MIZZEN SWORD (J Greyling) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, SONIC JET (M Yeni) was bumped out by PEARL IN HER CROWN (C Zackey), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) PARISIAN WALKWAY (D De Gouveia) and SENSORIA (*M K Katjedi) pulled hard in the early stages. c) MIZZEN SWORD (J Greyling) commenced to give ground to the field from the 400m. d) Shortly before the finish, ULTIMISSIMO (D Schwarz) was carried out marginally by PEARL IN HER CROWN (C Zackey), which hung out from the 150m. e) PARISIAN WALKWAY (D De Gouveia), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
