THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair break. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) During the loading process, the front gates of the stalls opened for no apparent reason. All horses were restrained by their Riders, returned to the start, checked by the Course Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded. b) BUSTER BARNES (D Daniels), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D Swanson advised (GF) JOCKEY AND/OR EQUIPMENT CHANGES: a) SIMON'S WORLD (J Penny) raced without alumites and equipped with steel shoes. b) EMMA OF NORMANDY (R Danielson) raced without blinkers. Jockey Danielson weighed out 56,8, 2kg over the carded weight of which 1,5kg was declared. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: None. THE VETERINARY SURGEON HAD NO REPORTS. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS.
