THE STARTER REPORTED: a) AMERICAN BISCUIT (S Khumalo) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) GOLDEN PAVILION (D De Gouveia) and IRISH LOVE (Wes Marwing) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, AMERICAN BISCUIT (S Khumalo) and MOCHA FRAPPE (K A Brewer) came together and bumped. b) At approximately the 1400m, MOCHA FRAPPE (K A Brewer), which commenced to over-race, ran onto and clipped the heels of MASTERSHIP (R Fourie). c) In view of the performance of MISS SCALETTA (R A Venniker), (distance 4,85 lengths, betting 5/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) In view of the performance of AMERICAN BISCUIT (S Khumalo), (distance 8,40 lengths, betting 9/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. e) Apprentice M K Katjedi reported that FEEL ALL RIGHT took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. f) MASTERSHIP (R Fourie), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D N Stenger advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) MISS SCALETTA: Apprentice R A Venniker weighed out at 52kg, not claiming her allowance as declared. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: None.
