THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Approaching the 300m, KADIZORA (M van Rensburg), which had come to the end of its run, was steadied momentarily when awkwardly placed between MAGICAL FLIGHT (C Zackey) and DARLING HARBOUR (S Moodley), which rolled in marginally and was straightened. b) Jockey K Matsunyane reported that he felt something amiss with A PLACE IN THE SUN in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) SPECIAL CHARM (R A Venniker), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
