THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BEADED GOWN (C Habib) stumbled leaving the stalls and thereafter was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) TWIINKLELITTLESTAR (C Zackey) raced wide on the latter part of the turn and into the straight. Thereafter Jockey C Zackey reported that this filly made an abnormal respiratory noise and did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) Jockey D Daniels reported that ARVERNI PRINCESS took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) Assistant Trainer G H van Zyl acting on behalf of Trainer G van Zyl (Jnr) signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 39.7.5 in that he failed to vaccinate PRANKSTER against Equine Influenza in accordance with the programme of vaccination as published from time to time in the Racing Calendar. Accordingly, a penalty of R1000 was imposed. d) HEREINAFTER (T Godden), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
