THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	DUNGEONS (R Danielson) was stubborn loading.
b)	TO THE RESCUE (P Strydom), ROYAL MAZARIN (M Yeni) and NUCLEAR FORCE (C Habib) jumped slow, losing one length.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	After racing prominently throughout, DUNGEONS (R Danielson) tired badly from the 300m. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
b)	At approximately the 150m IDEAL FUTURE (*N Nastili), which had come to the end of its run, was steadied when awkwardly placed between LEESON (*MK Katjedi) and TO THE RESCUE (P Strydom), which was hanging in from the 300m.	
c)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding DUNGEONS (R Danielson), Trainer RR Magner will be advised to have this gelding re-schooled prior to his next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10.
d)	VESUVIO, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer T Zackey was advised. (MdP)
