THE STARTER REPORTED: a) KILEIGH'S FATE (*N Nastili) and MISS TUCKER (KA Brewer) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start KILEIGH'S FATE (*N Nastili) shifted out away from CONCERTO (R Fourie) and made contact with IQEMBULABESIFAZANE (C Zackey). b) DEMIGOD (S Khumalo) shifted both ways away from the crop between the 300m and the finish. c) Trainer GD Smith was charged with a contravention of Rule 57.1.2 in that he failed to ensure that IQEMBULABESIFAZANE was presented in the security area at least 60 minutes before the official starting time of Race 8. Trainer GD Smith signed Admission of Guilt and was fined R2 500,00. d) CAN'T SAY NO, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised.
