THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WHATSUPBUTTACUP (A Mgudlwa) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) LEOPARD LADY (R Fourie) stumbled leaving the starting stalls. b) Shortly after the start WHATSUPBUTTACUP (A Mgudlwa) was carried in by TRUE LOVE'S KISS (S Moodley) which jumped in sharply leaving the starting stalls. Thereafter TRUE LOVE'S KISS (S Moodley) commenced to over-race. c) TRUE LOVE'S KISS (S Moodley) was hanging in, in the concluding stages. d) Jockey S Khumalo reported that he felt something amiss with MYSTERIOUS GIRL in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) In view of the performances of TRUE LOVE'S KISS (S Moodley) (12.00 lengths, 9/2 in the betting) and LEOPARD LADY (R Fourie) (8.90 lengths, 3/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) WHATSUPBUTTACUP (A Mgudlwa), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
