THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE DELAY IN THE PREVIOUS RACE, AS WELL AS STREISAND (*M K KATJEDI), BEING SUBJECT TO A LATE VETERINARY EXAMINATION. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) STREISAND (*M K Katjedi) reared in the stalls. b) LADY OF TIBET (*S Sosibo) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) During the loading process, STREISAND (*M K Katjedi) became restless and reared in the stalls. This filly was released from the stalls, examined by the Course Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race, and reloaded. b) KHETHIWE'S DESTINY (R Danielson), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
