Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	PINSTRIPE (R A Venniker) kicked the back gates. Was removed, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and re-loaded. 

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	At the 2300m CONTINENTALEXPRESS (C Zackey) was inconvenienced between PINSTRIPE (R A Venniker) and TRUSOVA (T Godden) which rolled in marginally.
b)	POORLITTLERICHGIRL (K Matsunyane) which was encouraged forward shortly after the start, commenced to over race in the early and middle stages, was difficult to assist around the first turn and raced clear of the field. 
c)	At the 300m FEW DOLLARS MORE (G Lerena) was momentarily inconvenienced on the outside of LAST GINGER (*B Plaatjies) which shifted out away from POORLITTLERICHGIRL (K Matsunyane) which had come to the end of its run and rolled out, and CONTINENTALEXPRESS (C Zackey) which rolled in. 
d)	Approaching the finish TRUSOVA (T Godden) was brushed in by CONTINENTALEXPRESS (C Zackey) which was brushed in by VIHAAN'S BOMB (R Fourie) which shifted in away from the crop and was immediately corrected.
e)	In view of the performances of LAST GINGER (*B Plaatjies) (10.45 lengths, 33/1 in the betting) and TO THE RESCUE (P Strydom) (8.35 lengths, 6/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.  
f)	VIHAAN'S BOMB (R Fourie), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer G van Zyl (Jnr) advised (SP).
