a)	Shortly after the start MELECH (S Moodley) was carried out by ZINOVI (M Yeni) which jumped outwards.
b)	Leaving the 300m COUNTDOWN (G Wright) was momentarily inconvenienced by AT MY COMMAND (C Zackey) which rolled outwards.
c)	At the 200m AT MY COMMAND (C Zackey) was brushed in by SUN BLUSHED (R A Venniker) which was hanging in from the 300m.
d)	Jockeys T Godden (QUASIFORSURE) and D De Gouveia (CLIFF TOP) reported that they felt something amiss with their respective mounts in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
