THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GNARLY (O Noach) was restless in the stalls. b) AFRICAN PRINCE (JP van der Merwe) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Due to the delay in the previous race, the Racing Operator rescheduled the off time of this race. b) Jockey C Zackey (KINDA WONDERFUL) dropped his right-side rein at the 50m, which he only regained after the finish. c) In view of the performance of ROMAN AGENT (R Fourie), which proved difficult to settle in the early stages, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. d) Jockey M Mjoka reported that WORLD OF PLEASURE took no interest in running.
