THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Leaving the 400m KING OF THE GAULS (R Fourie) was switched in off the heels of KUPHOLIWE (S Khumalo) to obtain a clear run. b) Leaving the 200m PLAZA ACCORD (S Moodley) had to steady in anticipation of a narrow run closing between LE PREMIERE (R A Venniker) which shifted out away from the crop, and KUPHOLIWE (S Khumalo) which rolled in. c) TEFLON MAN (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
