THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	MUJBAR (GB) (R Fourie), PYROMANIAC (A Mgudlwa) and INDIAN OCEAN (*M K Katjedi) were slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	Jockey R Fourie felt something amiss with MUJBAR (GB) in running and eased this horse out of the Race at the 1300m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
b)	At approximately the 350m, PURPLE PITCHER (S Khumalo), which rolled out marginally, was steadied to avoid the heels of MERIDIUS (M Yeni). Thereafter, at the 250m, PURPLE PITCHER (S Khumalo) was momentarily inconvenienced on the inside of POMODORO'S JET (K Matsunyane), and the heels of MERIDIUS (M Yeni). In view of the performance of PURPLE PITCHER (S Khumalo), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. 
c)	Jockey J Gates reported that STREET ART made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 			
d)	MERIDIUS (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.

e)	ATTICUS FINCH (G Lerena) placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.

f)	SON OF RAJ (C Habib), placed third, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.

a)	PERFECT WITNESS was ridden by Jockey N Klink (declared 9 June 2024 at 11H42).
b)	MUJBAR (GB): Jockey R Fourie weighed out at 54,6kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight.

b)	PURPLE PITCHER not striding out right hind.	
c)	STREET ART examined post race, nothing obvious detected.
