THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) SAN MARZANO (*S Hlengwa) raced wide of the field in the early and middle stages and thereafter this gelding commenced to give ground to the field from the 500m. Apprentice S Hlengwa reported that SAN MARZANO took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) TOM'S ACT (M Yeni) was hanging in from the 300m. Jockey M Yeni reported that he felt something amiss with TOM'S ACT in the concluding stages.
